This course introduces you to the way that economists think about human behavior and familiarizes you with some fundamental economic principles. The main objective of this course is to develop the economic approach to decision-making, or the economic way of thinking: The idea that all social phenomena arise from the choices that people make on the basis of their expected benefits and costs. Put simply, microeconomics focuses on the choices of individuals and how individuals interact together in exchange.
