Study guide for final exam.
- I have decided that the lowest exam grade you
received will be replaced by your final exam grade (if
that improves your grade). Study hard for the final!
- The three lowest homework scores will be dropped.
- A few strategies for success in any (math) class:
- Do your homework!
- Do extra problems in sections that you don't feel comfortable with.
- Come to class, take notes, and pay attention!
- If you don't understand something, then ask. You are
probably not the only person who "missed a detail".
- Review the material after class, or even better: read ahead!
(You should periodically check the schedule for any updates.)
- Learning (Math) can take a lot of time. Make the time!
- Use the
Math lab
as often as you can/need to. It is
open Monday through Friday, 9AM-5PM. The Math lab is located in
Craven Hall 3106-I behind the cashiers office on the library courtyard.
- Relax and think positive -- you can do it!
