- A few strategies for success in any (math) class:
- Do your homework!
- Do extra problems in sections that you don't feel comfortable with.
- Come to class, take notes, and pay attention!
- If you don't understand something, then ask. You are
probably not the only person who "missed a detail".
- Review the material after class, or even better: read ahead!
- Learning (Math) can take a lot of time. Make the time!
- Use the
Math lab
as often as you can/need to. It is
open Monday through Friday, 9AM-5PM. The Math lab is located in
Craven Hall 3106-I behind the cashiers office on the library courtyard.
- Relax and think positive -- you can do it!
- You can find a link to a graphing/calculator tool on
the top of the homework portal under the heading "resources"..
- Read your csusm.edu email regularly, since I may try to contact
you via this address. If you don't read your csusm.edu email regularly
have it forwarded
to an address which you do read!
