Please note: The course information sheet handed out in class
is missing a line at the bottom of the page. The section on Quizzes
should read:
"There will be frequent quizzes in the class. Since reading the book
is crucial to your success in following the material covered in class,
a reading quiz may be administered at the start of some classes.
In addition to this, a short quiz may be given at the end of
a chapter or some significant material. No advance warning
will be given prior to a quiz ....."
Please excuse the printing error and I will present fresh copies of
the corrected version on Thursday. Or you may download the file
from the link above which pulls up the corrected version.
