- General Homework remark:
Try all problems, you never know which one is easy --
this is especially true for Combinatorial Arguments.
- From now on we will call "nonnegative integers"
simply "natural numbers". N={0,1,2,3,...}
is the set of natural numbers.
- We also define 00=1. Observe that thus x0=1
for all x. However, for all positive numbers k, 0k=0 and
0-k is undefined.

- A Magic Carpet, is something that is kind of like a Magic Square:
it is a square array in which all the row and column sums are equal,
but numbers may be used repeatedly.
