I don’t think that the media is to blame for the outlook on marriage. Yes the media shows a lot of so called happy perfect families, but if you look into it, not all the families showed are perfect. In the Brady Bunch for example, both parents were remarried. I think that younger kids will be more affected by the media and it’s perception on family/marriage than adults. The kids haven’t gone through the experience of relationships so they believe what they see. As for adults, we’ve gone through enough experiences to be able to make a conclusion for ourselves. I do agree that marriage is what people think it is. Everyone views marriage differently and has gone through different experiences so that’s where people develop what they think of marriage. *****Congratulations on your marriage*****
