The Internet Poetry Archive Marianne Goyette and Kendra Finn In our project we plan to research the evolution of poetry Internet sites. We would like to discuss how poetry has changed as an art medium and how due to its transformation it has influenced other art forms such as music and film. The Internet poetry now makes accessible literature that was impossible for people to obtain. (even the ancient writings of religious groups) Part of the research will include the following: visit many different poetry related sites. Interact with the sites e-mail poets and ask them their opinions about this evolution e-mail authors, publishers and others related to the process of poetry making research the spoken word revival and slams collect data on universities influences in educating people about poetry creation of cd- roms and other vehicles related to internet activity   This abstract is a loosely formed concept and we are confident that our research will create more detailed analysis. We would like to create a Director piece or some other kind of interactive/visual means to illustrate our knowledge.
