Why
My Grades allows students to view any grades you have released from the Manage Students column. My Grades can be confusing at first, because it is not viewable when you log in as an instructor. We offer you the option of having a student view account so that you can log in as a student and view My Grades.
Allowing students to access their grades online allows you to focus on your course content. When students come up before or after class with questions about grades,you can suggest they log in to WebCT, check their grades and email you with any specific questions. When students click on My Grades, they only see their own grades for your course.
How
To find your online gradebook in WebCT, go to Control Panel > Manage Students.
Once you are in Manage Students you can add or edit any assignment columns. Remember that whenever you create an assignment using the Assignment Tool or a quiz using the Quiz Tool, a column will be created in your gradebook.
